An initiative of the Marananga Lutheran Church, located on Seppeltsfield Road, this event showcases around 120 wines from the Western Barossa and is the only sub-regional wine show in the country. The uniqueness of the Marananga Wine Show is in the regionality of the wine entries with only wines produced from grapes grown in the western Barossa eligible for judging.
The wine show is judged to Australian show judging standards.
Guests attending the Public Tasting held on the Saturday evening will enjoy tasting from the range of more than 120 entries, participating in the People’s Choice voting, and experiencing Western Barossa hospitality. The Public Tasting is open to visitors to the region and locals – anyone with an interest in good wine!
